President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the head of the Statehood Protection Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Oleksandr Kuksu, who was responsible for the list of persons posing a threat to national security.
The decree about this is posted on the website of the head of state. The corresponding decision was made after the Ukrainian actor Valentin Tomusyak was recently mistakenly included in the list.
Kuksa took over as head of the department in January this year, replacing Anatoly Dublik, who was fired.
Last week, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed five ministers at once.
