It’s time to negotiate substantively about de-escalation in Donbass, said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, quoted by the press service of the head of state.
“We are ready for the necessary decisions during the new summit of the leaders of the four countries,” he said.
On January 11, in Kiev, Zelensky met with advisers to the leaders of France and Germany, the parties agreed to maintain contacts.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with a group of American congressmen the participation of the United States in the process of a peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass, during the video meeting, “the need to involve the United States in the process of a peaceful settlement” was noted.
The country’s leader also said that Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire in Donbass, stressing Kiev’s intention to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in any format.
