Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova exposed the US plans for the “pain points” of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the air.
During a live broadcast with TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, Zakharova called for attention to last year’s article by US Deputy Secretary of State for Policy Victoria Nuland, which described US plans for 2021.
“For those who find it funny,” Zakharova noted.
The report says that the challenge for the United States for 2021 will be “to lead democracies around the world and jointly develop a more effective approach to Russia.” At the same time, the article explicitly states that the approach should be based on the “advantage of democracy”, and in its implementation “it is necessary to put pressure on Putin’s painful points, in which he is most vulnerable.” At the same time, Nuland immediately points out that among Putin’s pain points are the citizens of his country.
Zakharova noted that she was surprised that Washington had voiced its plans so directly.
“But this is not the first time we have faced such confidence in the US in its actions,” she added. “Visualizing dreams is also part of their approach.”
