Vladimir Yakushev, appointed today the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District, called his main tasks in the new post the fight against coronavirus and the improvement of the socio-economic situation of the regions, TASS reports.
According to Yakushev, the situation with COVID-19 in Russian regions is now difficult. Also, according to the new plenipotentiary, he intends, together with the governors, to work out solutions with which the regions will have to overcome economic difficulties.
We will remind, today by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin Yakushev was dismissed from the post of the head of the Ministry of Construction and appointed Plenipotentiary in the Urals Federal District.
In addition, the head of state dismissed the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Dmitry Kobylkin, the head of the Ministry of Transport Yevgeny Dietrich, and also dismissed Nikolai Tsukanov from the post of plenipotentiary representative in the Urals Federal District.
