WHO: the number of cases of COVID-19 in the world exceeded 325 million

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the world has exceeded 325 million, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Over the past day, 2,669,054 patients with COVID were detected in the world, 6,916 people became victims of the virus.

According to the materials of the international organization, the number of infected people has reached 326,279,424, and 5,536,609 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic.

Most cases in the United States – 64,720,612, as well as in India and Brazil – 37,380,253 and 22,975,723, respectively.

Earlier, UN Secretary-General António Guterres urged the world to start preparing for the next pandemic.
