WHO delivered first humanitarian aid to migrants

WHO delivered the first humanitarian aid to the Bruzgi center on the Belarusian-Polish border, where migrants are accommodated, RIA Novosti reports.

Hygiene kits were delivered to the migrants, which include hand sanitizer, masks, liquid soap, toothpaste, wet wipes and other essentials. The first part of the cargo was delivered to the center. In total, it is planned to bring 600 sets. Also, WHO intends to supply medicines.

Earlier, Lithuanian Interior Minister Agne Bilotaite said that about 2 thousand migrants from Asian and African countries are on the Belarusian side near the border. In Vilnius, a variety of scenarios are not excluded.

Prior to this, the Prime Minister of Poland said that more than 10 thousand migrants remain on the territory of Belarus. Mateusz Morawiecki believes that the Belarusian leadership uses the refugees for political purposes.
