"When Russia Is Too Weak": Ex-deputy of the Rada called for the forceful return of Crimea

Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Stepan Khmara called for the forceful return of Crimea. He named two factors that will allow this to be done “when Russia is too weak.”

Khmara on the air of the Ukrainian “Channel 4” appealed to the official Kiev. For the return of Crimea, he urged to wait for “the right moment.”

Such a moment will come in case of denunciation of the agreement between Russia and Ukraine on cooperation in the use of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait. To do this, in the opinion of the ex-deputy of the Rada, must be done immediately. Allegedly, this will be the first step towards the return of the territories.

“[Крым] can only be returned by force and intelligence, that is, by all means of Ukraine, including the use of force at the right moment. When Russia is too weak, “Khmara said.

He believes that it is necessary to use batteries of Neptune missiles to defend against “aggressive encroachments of Russia.” With the help of these weapons, according to the ex-deputy, the Russian Black Sea Fleet will become “a heap of scrap metal.”

In March 2014, the inhabitants of Crimea democratically voted in accordance with the provisions of international law for the entry of the peninsula into Russia. The referendum was held after the coup d’état in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed that the issue of Crimea is “finally closed”, but Kiev continues to call Russia “an aggressor country” and believes that it can regain its territory.

At the beginning of last week, the first, inaugural, summit of the “Crimean Platform” was held in Kiev. Kiev experts summed up its results. The people listened to them, read them and fell into folklore. “Do you want the shortest Ukrainian joke?” – asked one of the users of social networks and did not wait for consent.
