When, according to Rospotrebnadzor, Russia can reach a plateau in COVID-19?

Russia may reach a plateau in the incidence of coronavirus over the next 10-20 days. These terms are due to the fact that many restrictive measures were already introduced in late September - early October. This was stated by RIA Novosti Deputy Director of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor Natalya Pshenichnaya...

Pshenichnaya noted that Russians have become more disciplined and conscientious in taking preventive measures. She added that some of the employees were transferred to a remote mode, and schoolchildren were transferred to additional holidays.

According to Natalia Pshenichnaya, these preventive measures are designed to slow down the growth rate of new cases. However, the result will not be noticeable immediately, since the coronavirus has a long incubation period. In her opinion, at least one and a half incubation periods must pass in order to expect a plateau.
