Warsaw said NATO offers assistance to Poland in the migration crisis

NATO allies offered Warsaw assistance on the border with Belarus, Poland agrees to consider such an option, said the representative of the presidential office Jakub Kumokh, RIA Novosti reports.

Kumoh noted that we are talking about assistance directly at the border or political support, all scenarios are realizable.

Some time ago, Polish security forces used tear gas, water cannons and flashbangs against illegal migrants on the border with Belarus, because the refugees began to break the fence and throw stones at the Poles.

We will remind, on November 8, a large group of refugees, mostly Kurds, headed to the border of Belarus with Poland, from where they hope to get to Germany.

In turn, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko and acting German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed by phone ways to resolve the migration crisis on the border of Belarus with the European Union.

Meanwhile, Western countries believe that the actions of the Belarusian authorities led to the migration crisis. The West also blamed Russia for the migration crisis, while Moscow and Minsk reject such statements.
