President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said he wants a “substantive conversation” at a meeting with the head of Russia.
The head of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said he wants a more “substantive” meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also noted that “he does not have enough time to think about him (Putin. – Ed. Note)”, answering the corresponding question.
“Let his country and he not be offended. I am more interested in whether we can meet in detail,” Zelensky said.
He said this at the YES Brainstorming forum on Friday.
Earlier, the press secretary of Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, said that he was ready to meet with Zelensky, because the issue of relations between the two countries needs to be resolved, but Kiev’s desire is imperceptible.
