Volodin instructed the commission to discuss the transfer of unvaccinated deputies to a remote location

State Duma Speaker Viacheslav Volodin instructed the commission of the lower house on regulations to work out the issue of transferring deputies who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus to remote work, TASS reports.

The nearest Council of the Duma is scheduled for November 8, and the issue should be worked out by that date. After that, if necessary, it will be submitted to the plenary session.

Volodin added that now parliamentarians have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the State Duma in real time.

“You and I must understand that a decision must be worked out, you cannot close your eyes and your head in the sand, maybe it will. It won’t carry it through, ”the head of the Duma summed up.

He also announced the decision of the Council of the Lower House, according to which employees of the State Duma apparatus and assistants to deputies are required to be vaccinated against coronavirus. “You have to understand responsibility. Without vaccination, without antibodies, they cannot effectively perform their duties: assistants cannot receive citizens on our behalf, constantly providing communications, the apparatus cannot organize events, ensure the activities of the State Duma and parliament deputies, ”Volodin explained.

Earlier, he said that the Duma would transfer part of the device to a remote location due to the pandemic.

Also, the speaker of the lower chamber spoke about the level of vaccination in it. So, according to him, in mid-October, the leaders in the number of vaccinated deputies were the LDPR and United Russia factions.
