State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has not appeared at public events for a week. The politician missed the operational meeting of the Russian Security Council, and was not at the State Duma this week.
Sources of the newspaper in the State Duma believe that the speaker is on self-isolation, since he is scheduled to meet with Putin. A federal official suggested that Volodin would discuss with the president the preparation of bills to develop the adopted amendments to the Constitution.
Earlier, the interlocutors of the publication, close to the presidential administration, said that officials are undergoing a two-week quarantine before meeting with Putin.
