The State Duma factions will meet with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ahead of the Cabinet’s report. This was announced by the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
Representatives of the State Duma factions will meet with Mikhail Mishustin on Wednesday, April 28. According to Viacheslav Volodin, time will also be provided for personal meetings between the leaders and the Prime Minister. First, the deputy prime minister will talk with the United Russia faction, and then with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Liberal Democratic Party and Fair Russia.
Talking to reporters, Volodin said that on this day, the deputies will voice issues that require the attention of the Prime Minister. Prior to that, representatives of the factions met with relevant ministers, so the conversation with Mishustin will become the logical conclusion of the consultations, the speaker noted.
Thanks to the meeting to be held on April 28, some of the issues will be resolved before the government’s report, Volodin stressed. Recall that Mishustin will speak at the State Duma on May 12. Initially, the report was scheduled for April 21, but later it was decided: on this day, Russian President Vladimir Putin will address with a message to the Federal Assembly.
We will remind, earlier Dmitry Peskov spoke about the format of Vladimir Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly. According to a Kremlin spokesman, the event will be fully face-to-face.
