Russian President Vladimir Putin offered his condolences to the family.
The Russian public is shocked at how brutally they dealt with Daria Dugina, the daughter of a well-known political scientist. Condolences to the family and friends of the journalist were sent by Vladimir Putin.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a government telegram to Daria’s parents, expressing condolences and noting that Dugina was a true patriot of the country.
“Dear Alexander Gelevich and Natalya Viktorovna, please accept sincere condolences and words of support in connection with the most difficult, irreparable loss that has befallen you. A vile, cruel crime ended the life of Daria Dugina, a bright, talented person with a real Russian heart – kind, loving, sympathetic and open. A journalist, scientist, philosopher, war correspondent, she honestly served the people, the Fatherland, she proved by deed what it means to be a patriot of Russia. The memory of Daria Dugina will forever be preserved by relatives and friends, her like-minded people and associates. Strength and courage to you in this mournful hour”, the Russian leader wrote.
It is already known that Dugina’s car on the Mozhaisk highway was blown up remotely. The FSB, after two days of investigation, found the suspects – this is 43-year-old Ukrainian citizen Natalya Vovk, as well as daughter Sophia Shaban. Both of them arrived in Moscow on July 23 and followed Dugin, and also lived in the same house as the political scientist.
The murder of Daria caused a wide public outcry. An innocent girl suffered at the hands of terrorists – this was immediately stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin. Later, Margarita Simonyan, Tatyana Lazareva, Yana Poplavskaya and many other celebrities expressed their condolences.
Note that Daria was a supporter of the ideas of her father, who is a follower of the theory of the “Russian world”. Together with him, she went to lectures and seminars, and also spoke at a master class. Dugina is one of the few authors who has written a book about a special military operation to protect the Donbass, which will be released in the fall. The editor-in-chief has already announced that it will be dedicated to the late journalist.
