Valery Karpin made fun of Russian football while on holiday in Egypt

The head coach of the Russian national football team, Valery Karpin, joked about the level of the world’s most popular sport during an overseas vacation.

Valery Karpin shared with subscribers on his Instagram account photos captured during his vacation in Egypt. The mentor of the Russian national team published scuba diving footage, responding with humor by answering one of the followers in the comments.

“Looking for Russian football at the bottom,” wrote a subscriber with the nickname n0rdick.

“He’s there, you don’t even need to look,” Karpin wrote back to him.

The next match of the Russian national team will take place on March 24, writes RT. Karpin’s charges will play with Poland. The European qualification match for the World Cup in Qatar will be held at the capital’s Luzhniki stadium.
