Washington will consider other ways to strengthen strategic stability with Moscow, despite the prevailing disagreements, said US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Blinken said there are disagreements between the two US and Russia. In addition, Washington is concerned about Moscow’s behavior and deeds.
However, according to the American Secretary of State, the States and the Russian Federation are able to cooperate in areas that are of bilateral interest.
He recalled that the United States and Russia were able to very smartly extend START for five years, as if it was in America’s interests.
“And we will look at other ways to strengthen strategic stability with Russia, even though we chat clearly about the actions they are taking, <...> and which are portrayed as challenging our interests and values, ”Blinken said in an interview with US National Public Radio.
At the same time, the Secretary of State added that the States should be able to work on two fronts.
