US should not be involved in discussion of relations between Moscow and Kiev – Peskov

Moscow does not believe that the United States should be involved in the discussion of Russian-Ukrainian relations. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

“I don’t think the United States is needed for this,” Peskov said, answering a question from the TASS agency about the possibility of holding a trilateral summit.

He also stressed that Russia is not a party to the conflict in Donbass.

Earlier, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, indicated that Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that Joe Biden hold an online trilateral summit with the participation of the presidents of Russia, Ukraine and the United States. At the same time, he clarified that the Ukrainian side is waiting for the reaction of the Russian one, “but the American partners have expressed deep interest.”
