Oregon is now planning to replace conventional algebra with a newly minted object. It was called ethnomathematics, FoxNews reports.
According to senior editor of the Post Millenial Libby Emmons, racism seems to be the only one in this approach. The teachers don’t even notice that they are biased, Emmons notes.
He finds it absurd that if black students cannot meet the prevailing criteria, these criteria must be changed. Emmons called low expectations “soft chauvinism.”
