Updating mail. At the initiative of the EP, 632 branches will be modernized in 2022

The modernization of rural branches of the Russian Post and the expansion of their services is the most important project for the country, since it covers 30 million rural residents, the Secretary of the General Council of United Russia noted. Andrey Turchak during a meeting of the president with members of the government on November 24.

This is one of the points of the people’s program of “United Russia”, with which the party went to the elections of the deputies of the State Duma of the eighth convocation. 25160 branches will be modernized, 632 – next year.

“We are working with the government, the Ministry of Digital Industry, and the Russian Post on the preparation of a modernization plan and legal support of the project. This is the most important project for the country and one of the points of the people’s program of the party. “United Russia” will take this under special control, “- said the Secretary of the General Council of the party.

“United Russia” will take the program under special control: a deputy from the party is assigned to each branch, who will be personally responsible for the quality and timely implementation of the work.

“We will do everything so that the villagers feel the effect of the implementation of this program as soon as possible, and the task was completed efficiently and on time,” said Andrei Turchak.

The program will start almost in a month, said, in turn, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. Post offices are being modernized in remote rural areas, in settlements with a population of less than five thousand people.

“They are often the only place for citizens to receive the necessary services, as well as goods, medicines, legal notices. Remote territories of the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, the Republic of Buryatia, were selected as pilot areas, ”he said.

Maxim Akimov.

According to him, the government has already made a decision to allocate 5 billion rubles this year for the additional capitalization of Russian Post.

Mail services will be expanded

As for the President’s instruction from the United Russia Party Congress, which concerned the expansion of the list of services for citizens provided by Russian Post, today work has been launched to provide state services in all post offices on the basis of the IFC principle.

“There are no restrictions on the sale of medical products such as blood pressure monitors, tests, bandages – only 23 thousand items. Also, the post office received permission to deliver non-prescription drugs. Within a month, the Russian Post and the Ministry of Health will prepare a roadmap for organizing the sale of drugs directly in the departments themselves. Now the territories where there are FAPs are being determined so that there is no duplication, since such a service is already provided in FAPs, ”Dmitry Chernyshenko explained, noting that the government has already prepared a corresponding bill and will soon submit it to the State Duma.

None of the post offices should be forgotten, stressed Vladimir Putin

“The social part of this issue is extremely important for millions of our citizens who cannot get to other places where they could receive appropriate services or even goods, it is very difficult for them to do this, and there is mail everywhere. “United Russia” spoke about this during the pre-election work, “the president said.

The development of regional rural branches of the Russian Post is included in the popular program of United Russia. The President supported the proposal to expand the capabilities of Russian Post in the countryside at a meeting with party representatives on August 22.

On September 13, Vladimir Putin gave instructions on the results of the second stage of the party congress. They, in particular, say that the government needs to provide funds for additional capitalization of Russian Post JSC to modernize rural branches until 2025, as well as to expand the list of services provided by the organization.
