UN calls the level of vaccination of the population of developing countries unacceptable

Chairman of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly Abdullah Shahid said that the current level of vaccination against coronavirus in developing countries in 2-3% is unacceptable, reports TASS.

“We know that only 2-3% of the population in developing countries have been vaccinated. This is especially true for Africa. This is unacceptable, this should not be, ”he said.

According to him, the world community has the potential to fully take root by the end of next year.

At the end of September, the American media wrote that the US authorities who had been vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine from November could refuse entry, since the vaccine had not received the approval of the WHO and American regulators.

Earlier it became known that the Cuban authorities decided to cancel the presentation of the PCR test for covid for tourists from November 15. Travelers will be admitted on the basis of a vaccination certificate.
