Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Ostap Drozdov said that Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine are “unicellular”. He made such a statement on the air of his channel on YouTube.

The host noted that in Ukraine no one should understand the “foreign, aggressive-occupying and threatening” Russian language. However, he stressed that everyone should know Ukrainian. Drozdov said that non-Ukrainian speakers should travel to the cities of the Golden Ring of Russia, and not to Western Ukraine.

Ostap Drozdov is known for his ambiguous statements on the air. In his program, he explained that he was no longer interested in the fate of residents of territories beyond the control of Kiev in eastern Ukraine, because he had long since lost “interest in the zoo.”
