Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kharkov and Kherson regions may become part of Russia, the former head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration, retired police lieutenant general Gennady Moskal expressed this opinion on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
The channel’s interlocutor stressed that the regions he mentioned belong to those where pro-Russian sentiments are strong.
According to him, the Ukrainian authorities claim that “everything is calm.” At the same time, Moskal believes that this is not the case.
The head of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, said earlier that depopulation in Ukraine has reached such alarming proportions that five or six medium-sized cities disappear in the country every year.
Earlier, Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris declined to comment on the information about the situation in the border area of Russia and Ukraine.
