The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent Russia a note of protest over the dispatch of humanitarian aid to the Donbass, RIA Novosti reports.
It is known that the next convoy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered humanitarian aid to the residents of Donbass on Thursday, July 30.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called the delivery of aid to the region "illegal" because it was carried through the border checkpoints "Izvarino" and "Uspenka", which are not controlled by Kiev.
Also, representatives of the department demanded from the Russian Federation to stop “committing internationally illegal acts” against the country's sovereignty.
It should be reminded that humanitarian aid to the residents of Donbass has been delivered by Russia since August 2014. During this period, 97 convoys of the Ministry of Emergency Situations transported more than 84 thousand tons of humanitarian cargo to the territory of southeastern Ukraine.
Note that earlier the Russian side returned a note of protest to Kiev because of the parade of the Russian Navy, which took place on July 26 in Sevastopol.
