Ukrainian conscripts after surrendering in Kherson asked for Russian citizenship

Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), after voluntarily surrendering to the RF Armed Forces in Kherson, appealed to the Russian military with a request not to include them in the exchange lists, RIA Novosti reports.

According to a RIA Novosti war correspondent, Ukrainian conscripts Nevzglyadov and Boyko declared their desire to obtain Russian citizenship, live peacefully and oppose the nationalist Kyiv regime on the side of the Russian Armed Forces. The Ukrainians stressed that after receiving the summons, they were threatened with three years in prison if they refused to participate in hostilities.
