Ukrainian boxer Usik won four world titles in a fight with Joshua


Ukrainian Alexander Usik defeated British boxer Anthony Joshua and received the title of WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion of the world.

The title match took place in London at the stadium of the football club “Tottenham Hotspur” and lasted all 12 rounds. Usyk won on points scored by unanimous decision of the referee corps, writes RT. The score of the fight is 117-112, 116-112, 115-113 in favor of the 34-year-old Ukrainian boxer.

Oleksandr Usyk spent 19 fights during his professional career and won all of them, 13 of them by knockout. Previously, the Ukrainian was the holder of the world title in the first heavyweight division.

Joshua suffered his second career defeat in this fight. The 31-year-old Englishman has 24 victories, including 22 by knockout.

Earlier, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury predicted the outcome of this fight in an interview with BoxingScene. According to him, Joshua should have held out against Usyk for no more than three rounds.
