Ukraine signed an agreement with the World Bank to receive $ 50 million. About this May on Facebook reports the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

It is noted that these funds will go to additional funding for the project "Improving public health in the service of people." The corresponding agreement was signed today by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

As noted in the Ministry of Finance, $ 30 million of this amount will be directed to measures to strengthen the protection of the population and counteract the spread of the COVID epidemic - 19.

The rest of the money will be used to purchase modern equipment for emergency (emergency) medical care departments and to strengthen the ability of hospitals to provide high-quality stroke care in the regions of Ukraine.

In addition, World B funds NKA will be directed to finance other activities within the framework of introducing health care reform and strengthening the capacity of the National Health Service of Ukraine.
