Turkish airline Turkish Airlines will not allow citizens of Iraq, SAR and Yemen on flights to the capital of Belarus due to the migration crisis, RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that this was stated by the representative of the office of the President of Poland, Jakub Kumoh. He added that holders of diplomatic passports will be an exception.
Earlier it became known that due to the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border, restrictive measures may be introduced against Turkish Airlines. At the same time, the airline denied accusations of involvement in the transportation of illegal migrants.
The situation on the border of Belarus and Poland escalated on Monday, November 8. More than 2,000 illegal immigrants from the countries of the East and Africa went there.
On Thursday, the deputy head of the Polish Foreign Ministry Pavel Yablonski said that the number of migrants arriving at the Belarusian-Polish border continues to grow.
