Turkey sent its tanks to the border with Greece. These actions are taking place against the background of a crisis in relations between the two countries.
Tensions surfaced recently after the Turkish ship Oruç Reis began seismic surveys in the Mediterranean Sea to the east. Greece considers this zone to be its economic zone.
As a result, relations between the countries have worsened, at the moment Turkish tanks are moving from the Hatay province, bordering Syria, to the Edirne province.
The equipment is heading towards the Greek border, reports TASS. There are about 40 tanks, they are transported by two convoys.
At the same time, the other day Athens and Ankara agreed to start negotiations to resolve the conflict situation.
