Supporters of the current US President Donald Trump held rallies in support of him in more than ten states, the Associated Press reports.
Rallies reportedly took place in Arizona, Washington, Wisconsin, Georgia, California, Kansas, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah and Hawaii.
It is noted that many of the protesters came to the buildings where state legislatures sit. In addition, some of the protesters carried weapons.
Protesters demanded that Trump be recognized as the winner of the presidential election in November 2020.
Recall that on Wednesday, protesters supporters of US President Donald Trump broke into the Capitol building in Washington. Legislators and certificates with electoral votes were transferred to safe places.
Earlier, the head of the White House ordered to send the National Guard to maintain order in Washington.
