Bahrain and Israel have agreed to establish diplomatic relations. US President Donald Trump wrote about this on his Twitter page.
The American leader called the achievement of an agreement on a peace agreement between states "a historic breakthrough." He also recalled that over the past month, this is the second Arab country that made peace with Israel.
In addition, Trump issued a joint statement by the United States, Bahrain and Israel, which says that the two countries confirm their readiness to establish "full-fledged diplomatic relations."
We will remind, on August 13, Israel and the UAE agreed to conclude an agreement providing for the complete normalization of relations between the countries. The document is expected to be signed soon at the White House. Trump added in his post that representatives of Bahrain will also be present at the signing ceremony.
