United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said her inflation forecasts for the country were overly optimistic.
In March of this year, inflation in the United States reached a record level since 1981 and reached a value of 8.5%. In April, price increases slowed for the first time since August 2021 and amounted to 8.3% in annual terms.
Janet Yellen said she was wrong about the path inflation would take. Earlier, she noted that no one expected either serious shocks to the economy, which spurred higher energy and food prices, or disruptions in logistics, which dealt a serious blow to the United States economy.
Earlier, SM-News reported that Zelensky said that Ukraine is losing 60-100 soldiers killed and about 500 wounded every day.
