Tokayev dismissed Special Representative for Baikonur Suleimenov

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dismissed Serik Suleimenov, his special representative at the Baikonur complex. This was reported on the website of the head of state.

“By the order of the head of state, Suleimenov Serik Zhusipovich was relieved of the post of special representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Baikonur complex,” the statement said.

Suleimenov has worked in this position since April 8, 2020. At the same time, he took the post of deputy akim of the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan.

The day before, 19 aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces returned from Kazakhstan with peacekeepers and equipment on board. They landed at the Chkalovsky airfield.

Earlier, the press service of the government of Kazakhstan reported that a public social fund had been created in the republic to help the population. It will solve the problems of the country’s inhabitants in the field of healthcare, education, culture and sports.
