President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev announced that on January 11 he would submit proposals to parliament on a new composition of the government, RIA Novosti reported.
The head of the republic also indicated that the large-scale anti-terrorist operation will be completed in the near future, and with it the “effective mission of the CSTO” will also end.
Earlier it became known that Tokayev dismissed the Cabinet amid protests in the republic. In addition, he headed the Security Council of the republic, dismissing Nursultan Nazarbayev from this post.
We also remind that on the eve of the President dismissed two deputy heads of the National Security Committee – Marat Osipov and Daulet Yergozhin.
