Timeline for receiving COVID-19 vaccine announced in Moldova

The first batches of the coronavirus vaccine will arrive in Moldova in mid-February, RT reports.

This was reported by representatives of the Republican Ministry of Health.

The ministry said in a statement that it is about 24,570 doses of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine and 264,000 doses of Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccines.

On January 30, the Moldovan authorities received confirmation of the supply of vaccines under the global COVAX program.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine will also receive the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in February.
