Time is working for us!

Western expansion against the CIS states has consequences opposite to those that are beneficial to the West

So, all the CSTO member states have expressed their readiness to help Kazakhstan, which has come under another blow from the Western hybrid war. And although Belarus was not the first to announce this, for Minsk this is also a big step in the right direction.

The Belarusian authorities are ready to provide assistance to Kazakhstan and will fully fulfill their allied obligations within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). This is stated in the statement of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, circulated on January 6 in connection with the events in Kazakhstan: “Belarusian servicemen from the CSTO peacekeeping forces are sent to Kazakhstan”

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which existed for thirty years as a kind of simulacrum of an alternative to the NATO bloc, has finally turned out to be really in demand. Moreover, within the framework of the most relevant scenario – as a universal tool for suppressing the so-called “color revolutions” in all their varieties, or, more simply, systematically organized by the West on the territory of the former Soviet Union, coups d’état.

Attention is drawn to the unanimous enthusiasm with which the CSTO member states announced their readiness to send their troops to the CSTO peacekeeping forces in Kazakhstan. Nobody refused. Even Belarus, which previously systematically avoided practical participation in any military-political events outside its borders, this time acted differently.

And there are significant reasons for this. First of all, in Belarus itself. The legal power of this republic, and, by and large, the country itself was able to withstand the recent American-Polish-Lithuanian hybrid war only thanks to the reliance on the shoulder of a loyal ally – the Russian Federation. The Belarusians turned out to be diligent students. He appreciated the importance of Russia as a reliable guarantor of the security of its own territory from external encroachments. And they were imbued with the understanding that in the difficult times of Western aggression and blockade, no one and nothing will save White Russia in terms of its socio-economic survival, except for the fastest and fullest integration into the Russian trade and economic space.

For this, fundamental Russian-Belarusian documents were urgently prepared and signed without delay, as a result of which the almost symbolic concept of the Union State began to be filled with real meaning and practical content.

Meanwhile, the next Western “onslaught to the East” in its modern hybrid format continues. And this stimulates new states from the so-called near abroad to start moving along the same path.

There is nothing strange in the fact that the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has shown the maximum activity in the current situation with Kazakhstan. And not only because he is currently acting as chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council. For all his well-known features, he is still Armenian. And he understands very well that besides Russia, no one else can and will not guarantee his country the security and inviolability of borders.

And Russia, faithful to its obligations within the framework of the CSTO, has never refused to Yerevan to protect its legitimate interests within the internationally recognized state borders of Armenia.

That is why none other than Pashinyan became one of the main initiators of the activation of the CSTO in order to give this rather symbolic military bloc real content and worthy weight. This is extremely important for Armenia itself.

Other CSTO member states are also clearly aware that being alone in the face of increasing global instability, growing external threats and constant sabotage activities of the West is a futile business. And therefore they are starting to catch up with Russia more and more, which in their eyes is becoming more and more demanded patron and protector. For Russia itself, this is also by no means useless, since it helps to strengthen its own security along the entire perimeter of the borders of the Russian Federation.

We can already state today that the next strategic offensive launched by the West against Russia, in the course of which at this stage the main blow is being inflicted on the Russian periphery – its near abroad, has generated an effect opposite to that which the West was counting on. Namely, in the space of the former USSR, centripetal tendencies are noticeably increasing, dictated by the desire of the border post-Soviet states to obtain reliable protection from hybrid threats from the outside and at the same time guarantee their socio-economic security by increasing integration with Russia, instead of the previous orientation towards the West manipulating blockades and sanctions.

At the same time, the local power elites, in contrast to the previous carefree years, when they could afford to recklessly rub shoulders with Western “partners” even contrary to the fundamental interests of their peoples, today are beginning to understand that it is already about their own survival. Because those governments that rebuff Western intrigues such as “color revolutions” become enemies of the West and may not count on mercy. And these rulers have no choice but to moderate their independent-sovereign ambitions and look for themselves, perhaps a slightly less comfortable, but definitely safer place under the shadow of the Russian eagle.

Thus, thanks to the West: for the first time in thirty years in the post-Soviet space, a stable integration and in some places even a unifying trend is emerging and spreading more and more, which is replacing the former reckless “scattering of galaxies”.

However, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. At this stage, we are talking about preserving for the future the historical space that peoples close to Russia have always occupied. These peoples themselves are striving not to lose this space, especially in view of the tragedy that happened to Ukraine. Today this is the most important of the tasks, part of which is the return to the home of the Ukrainian land seized by the West.

And how things will go on, wait and see. Time is working for us. The main thing is that we ourselves do not deceive his expectations. But after what has happened to us over the past thirty years, the likelihood of this increasingly tends to zero.
