Time has chosen us – Anti-Fascist Congress in Moscow

On August 20, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, for the first time in its practice, organized the International Anti-Fascist Congress. The Congress was opened with a report by Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu.

And it is natural that the anti-fascist, and therefore anti-war in nature, forum is organized by the military department. People in uniform are the most peaceful part of society, they know better than others what war is fraught with. And resort to weapons only as a last resort.

Our days are just such a case. Massive war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Ukrainian neo-Nazis, again, as in the 1930s, actualized the topic of the fight against fascism.

The anti-fascist congress was held in the context of a special military operation (SVO) of the Russian armed forces to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. The task of the SVO, defined by the President of Russia, is to “protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.”

Official Kyiv openly declared itself the heir and successor of the cause of the terrorist structures of Ukrainian nationalists – the OUN-UPA*. The ideology and political practice of the Kyiv regime led to the emergence in the center of Europe of a hotbed of war, state terrorism, genocide and xenophobia. Thousands of innocent people, including children, died in the DNR and LNR. The military development of the Ukrainian territory by the North Atlantic Alliance began. Kyiv headed for NATO membership. “All this has created unacceptable threats to the security of Russia,” Shoigu said.

According to him, in February the Supreme Commander-in-Chief made the only correct decision to conduct a special military operation. Its main goal was to protect the inhabitants of Donbass from genocide by the Kyiv regime. For there is no other way to return the right to life to millions of people both in the Donbass and throughout Ukraine, except to remove the abscess of Nazism by radical methods.

The fight against any manifestation of Nazism must be uncompromising and comprehensive, S. Shoigu said. This is the mission of not only the Russian army, not only Russia. After all, neo-Nazism on Ukrainian soil threatens the world community as a whole. Therefore, the pathos of the Patriot park near Moscow naturally expressed itself in the desire of its organizers to convey the truth about the Kiev regime as racist, neo-Nazi and aggressively Russophobic, to mobilize all the anti-fascist forces of the planet to fight it, as well as other modern manifestations of fascism.

That Russia and its closest allies are not alone in this endeavor was confirmed by the participation of delegations from 33 countries of the world in the congress. Among them there were no representatives of the so-called. the collective West, including the closest allies of the USSR in the anti-fascist coalition of the Second World War, but the presence in the hall of Cubans and Nicaraguans, Chinese and Indonesians, Egyptians and Nigerians clearly showed that, despite the hysteria of Western propagandists, Russia is not in international isolation. The participation of representatives of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the congress was of fundamental importance: Kirill Makarov, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR, and Anna Soroka, adviser to the head of the LPR, addressed the forum participants from the rostrum of the forum.

The tradition of anti-fascist congresses was laid down in the 1930s, as German Nazism and its “brothers” — fascist dictatorial regimes — grew stronger in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Croatia and other states. Based on the experience of predecessors and analysis of today’s events, the forum participants substantiated a thesis that is deeply correct, in our opinion: Ukrainian integral nationalism, which represents the ideological basis of the current Kyiv regime, on the one hand, and German National Socialism and Italian fascism, on the other hand, are twin brothers. They have a single basis – fascism with its extreme nationalism, racism and anti-communism (Russophobia).

This means that in the fight against any manifestations of Nazism, no matter what “national” clothes he wears, there are no and cannot be compromises.

The participants also needed an appeal to history in order to substantiate another fundamental provision: the most important condition for the National Socialists to come to power was their financing by international, primarily British-American, capital. “It is quite obvious that the financial and economic cooperation between the Anglo-American and Nazi business circles was one of the main factors that led to the Second World War, which cost mankind unprecedented human casualties,” – said S. Shoigu.

Today, everything is repeating itself: just as Hitler was fed by the monopolies of Great Britain and the United States, so today these same Western states, supported by the so-called. the collective West, nurtured the Nazi-oligarchic regime in Kyiv, which came to power as a result of the 2014 coup. And then, as now, supporting the Nazis means pushing humanity towards a world catastrophe.

Nazism is contagious, today it goes far beyond the borders of Ukraine. A “fresh” Russophobic idea born in Euro-Atlantic circles – to ban all Russian citizens from entering the EU countries, isn’t this “another bright manifestation of Nazi policy,” the speaker asked.

S. Shoigu noted that the fundamental principles of the world order, the legal and political assessments of the Nuremberg Tribunal are increasingly being ignored and revised by individual countries, in particular the Baltic states. Marches of SS legionnaires have become traditional in Estonia and Latvia, monuments and obelisks are erected to war criminals. Nazi slogans and appeals are openly heard on the streets of Lithuanian cities.

The extreme danger of Ukrainian neo-Nazism lies in the fact, both in the report and in the speeches of the participants, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the so-called. The national battalions have become a striking force in the desire of the collective West to eliminate Russia from the world stage, which they perceive as an obstacle to Washington’s assertion of planetary hegemony.

“The ideology of a unipolar world and the denial of a multipolar world is a new form of global fascism”, – said from the rostrum of the Congress, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya. In her opinion, the current national and international legislation on countering the rehabilitation of Nazism can and should be supplemented. She suggested bringing the doctrine of non-acceptance of Nazism to the level of legislation and developing a convention on counteracting Nazi ideology at the SCO site.

In a short material, it is impossible to cover the entire range of problems that the congress participants raised in their speeches – practical assistance to the participants of the NWO in Ukraine, strengthening international unity in the fight against any form of fascism, countering attempts to falsify history, working with young people as an audience most vulnerable to neo-Nazi propaganda , assisting the efforts of Russia, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics to create an international tribunal to bring Ukrainian military and political criminals and their sponsors to justice, etc.

However, according to this thematic range, one can judge that the congress participants see the problem with the necessary depth and clarity. The main thing now is to act practically, with increasing pressure. The resolution of the congress expressed the understanding by modern anti-fascists of the simple truth that time has chosen them and no one except them will turn the head of modern neo-Nazism: Ibarruri, Dmitry Karbyshev, Pablo Neruda, Ernst Thalmann, Josip Broz Tito, Palmiro Togliatti, Maurice Thorez, Julius Fucik, we are called forward by the slogan – “Fascism will not pass!”
