According to the leader of the Belarusian opposition, the Belarusian authorities allegedly apply to Interpol to extradite citizens from the territory of other states. Tikhanovskaya also noted that Minsk “requests information about Belarusians in other countries, including their phone numbers, residence, property, etc.” Against this background, the activist and her supporters ask Interpol not to cooperate with the authorities of the republic.
“The letter also suggests organizing a meeting of Interpol representatives with Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and representatives of ByPol. Further plans include communication with the Central National Bureaus of Interpol in other countries to limit cooperation with the regime within the framework of Interpol, ”the Telegram channel says.
