This year's Cannes Film Festival will take place from 6 to 17 July

In 2020, the Cannes Film Festival was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The films that were supposed to be watched at the festival were shown at other shows, and a list with their titles was shared with the audience.

This year the film festival will take place offline, in the usual order. However, since May it was decided to move it to give more time to the situation with the coronavirus to stabilize. Initially, they wanted to set the dates of the festival for June, but they turned out to be occupied by the “Cannes Lions”. Then the new dates were approved: the Cannes Film Festival will be held from 6 to 17 July.

The Berlin Film Festival has also changed its dates due to the coronavirus: it will take place in March.
