Research results for the third Russian vaccine against COVID-19 are expected in December. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko on the air of the channel "Russia-1".
"The third vaccine, research is currently underway on it, and we expect results on it by mid-December," he said.
Work on the third domestic vaccine against coronavirus is underway at the Chumakov Scientific Center. Earlier, Russia registered the Sputnik V vaccine of the Gamaleya Center, as well as the vaccine of the Vector Novosibirsk center.
Murashko said that mass vaccination could begin in Russia in November, writes "Evening Moscow". In the near future, the authorities should begin to form lists of groups of citizens who need to be vaccinated.
Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that the third vaccine against coronavirus could be registered in a month.
