The White House cannot yet assess the possibility of a meeting between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden before the end of this year, RIA Novosti reports.
This was stated by the representative of the American administration Jen Psaki during a conversation with reporters.
She noted that she was not familiar with Putin’s schedule, and also could not announce the trip from the American side.
According to Psaki, Biden is involved in diplomacy with those with whom he has differences and agreements, but at the moment Washington has nothing to report on this issue.
Recall that the last talks between the leaders of Russia and the United States were held at the summit in Geneva on June 16. This was their first face-to-face meeting as heads of two states.
