The US military is monitoring a Russian ship in the Pacific Ocean in the Hawaii region. This is reported by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, referring to the representative of the Indo-Pacific Command of the US armed forces, Major Rob Martins.
The military has been watching a ship navigating international waters off Hawaii since Friday, he said. The publication noted that the ship is located near the economic zone of Hawaii.
Martins added that the command monitors all ships in the Indo-Pacific region as part of daily operations with patrol aircraft and surface vessels.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Navy in 2022 will conduct 950 exercises.
