Former Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine and ex-deputy of the Rada Yevhen Chervonenko pointed to a significant omission of the country’s President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, in the place of Zelensky on that day, he would “pick up the phone” and make an important call.
According to Yevgeny Chervonenko, Vladimir Zelensky made a big mistake when, on the birthday of Russian President Vladimir Putin, he did not call and congratulate his colleague.
On the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “NASH”, the politician noted that on October 7, in the place of President Zelensky, he would “pick up the phone.”
“On this day, chakras open and many enemies become friends,” Chervonenko believes.
According to the politician, it is not necessary to become “inveterate friends”, but it is important to conduct a decent dialogue.
“Presidents can be friends conditionally,” he believes, and adds that a real president still knows how to masterly defend the interests of his country.
It is worth noting that against the backdrop of almost daily statements by Kiev about the need for dialogue between Zelensky and Putin, the silence on the birthday of the leader of Russia by the Ukrainian president is indeed a major failure.
