The plenary sessions of the State Duma on October 14 and 15 were canceled in accordance with the resolution, TASS reported on Tuesday.
The draft resolution was submitted by the Duma Committee for Control and Regulation.
Earlier on Monday, the Duma Council decided to cancel the next two plenary sessions. According to the first vice-speaker of the lower house of parliament Alexander Zhukov, against the background of a difficult epidemic situation, parliamentarians will focus on the most priority bills that require consideration in the near future.
He noted that, first of all, these are "bills introduced by the President in accordance with amendments to the Constitution."
