The State Duma adopted in the final reading the draft federal budget for 2022 and the planning period 2023-2024, RIA Novosti reports.
337 deputies voted for its adoption, 79 against. One person abstained.
In the next two years, the budget will be in surplus. Revenues in 2022 will amount to 25.021 trillion rubles, in 2023 – 25.540 trillion, in 2024 – 25.831 trillion. Expenditures are planned at 23.694 trillion rubles in 2022, 25.241 trillion in 2023, and 26.354 trillion in 2024.
According to the conclusion of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, in 2022, expenses increase by 30% compared to 2019 (5.479 trillion rubles).
Recall that socially significant amendments were approved in the second reading of the document. As noted by the head of the Duma budget committee Andrei Makarov, it includes funds for the implementation of the president’s instructions. In addition, amendments initiated by Vladimir Putin were adopted. They relate to the increase in the minimum wage and the living wage.
We add that in October the head of the Russian Federation signed the law on the execution of the federal budget for 2020. Expenses exceeded revenues by 4.1 trillion rubles.
