In the second match of the youth (under 20) ice hockey world championship, which takes place in Edmonton (Canada), the Russian national team was defeated by the Czech national team. The score was 0: 2.
The previous match – with the Americans – ended in a victory for the Russians with a score of 5: 3. Before the match with the Czech Republic, the coaching staff of the Russian national team carried out a number of changes in the team. The first link has changed – Yegor Afanasyev was raised to Vasily Podkolzin and Marat Khusnutdinov. And Rodion Amirov from the first three got into the second to Daniil Bashkirov and Egor Chinakhov.
In the next match, Russia will play against the Austrian national team – the game will be on December 30.
