Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova instructed to develop measures to prevent and prevent abuse of the elderly, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the minutes of the meeting of the Council under the government on guardianship in the social sphere.
She gave the order to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Tsifra, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Health, Roskomnadzor and Rosmolodezh. The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Justice will also take part in the development. Departments should form a working group to develop a set of measures to achieve this goal. They will have to do this before the end of the year.
The organization of a federal hotline for helping the elderly was named among the possible measures. The developed set of measures must be submitted for approval to the Council by August 2022.
Members and experts of the profile section of the Council were also instructed to submit proposals to Rospotrebnadzor on improving sanitary rules for small-capacity inpatient social services (up to 25 people), and to the Ministry of Emergency Situations – proposals for finalizing fire safety requirements for such organizations.
