Phosphorus shells were found at the firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the liberated village of Udy in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the representative of the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia.
“These are the same Ukrainian positions that the Ukrainian military personnel abandoned in the village of Udy. Here you see what a huge number of rockets they used, the lion’s share, of course, for civilians. And, as we see, with the use of phosphorus, prohibited ammunition, ”the message says.
Russia has previously applied to the UN in connection with the use of phosphorus munitions by militants in the territory of Donbass. Fighting with such weapons is a violation of the Geneva Convention.
