The Republic of Mali approved the use of the Sputnik V vaccine

The Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has been approved for use in the Republic of Mali, TASS reports.

It is clarified that the registration of the drug was carried out as part of an accelerated procedure.

The Russian drug ranks second in the world in terms of the number of approvals received by state regulators and is approved for use in 57 countries with a total population of more than 1.5 billion people.

Earlier, the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, sent a letter to the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with a request to help in obtaining a vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus.
