Slovak President Zuzana Chaputova on Tuesday accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Igor Matovic, reports TASS.
Finance Minister Eduard Heger was charged with forming the government.
Matovic, who is also the leader of the center-right Ordinary People and Independent Individuals (OLNL) party, has announced his readiness to step down due to controversy over Russia’s Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.
