The Pentagon estimates the daily losses of the Ukrainian army at 100 people killed and about 100-300 people wounded. This was announced at a press conference with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin by the head of the US Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mark Milli.
According to him, similar assessments are found in the media. They “roughly match” US military estimates, Milley said, adding that he “didn’t want to reveal our own data.”
At the same time, a senior Pentagon official noted that in the conduct of hostilities, counting the dead “is always extremely difficult.” The announced figures, he said, are preliminary.
